Skye Hospital

Balfour Beatty’s visionary project, the Lochalsh & South West Ross Hospital in Broadford, Skye, unfolded over the course of 2020 and 2021. This new build endeavor showcased our dedication to delivering excellence in construction. The seamless collaboration resulted in a facility that exemplifies both innovation and functionality.

The project was a new build with Kingspan composite panels being installed to both roof and walls. The roof was then overlaid with zinc including some of the wall cladding areas. The rest of the building was over clad in either fibre cement panels or Siberian larch timber.
